Once you have a basic understanding of the principles of Time and Motion Study, and your organization is properly prepared, it’s time to put your knowledge into practice.

This course will teach you how to conduct a Time and Motion Study. This includes making accurate time recordings, analyzing work activity, and what type of equipment to use.

On a higher level, teams will be formed, the number of cycles to be studied will be determined, and study options will be considered. The tools for Time and Motion include time observation forms, measuring wheels, and motion diagrams. Video recordings will also be utilized. The data gained from these methods and techniques can be utilized using a subjective rating method to gauge individual performance.
